Advocating Violence Crosses Free Speech Barrier
By David G. Johnson
The Republican Party of Silicon Valley issues the following statement:
Advocating Violence Crosses Free Speech Barrier
Larry Lang is being asked to resign his position as the Vice Mayor of Los Altos after posting numerous images of "86-47" on his personal emails. CAGOP, Fox News and the NY Post have covered this extensively.
More troubling is his endorsement by the Democrat Party of Santa Clara County, who also have similar messages on overpasses around the Valley.
As citizens of a fair society, we believe that this crosses the line of free speech, and we urge Larry Lang to apologize and resign immediately.
We additionally urge the Santa Clara County Democrat party to also remove similar images from their "protests" and messaging, as this sows division.
Donald Trump is not the problem and one day his term will end. But, we will still be faced with ever-increasing taxes and out of control spending, which combine to make California less and less affordable - Especially for older people on fixed incomes and younger people who simply want to stay in the area because it is (was) a great place to live.
We urge Larry Lang to resign immediately and apologize for fanning the flames of division to ALL of the residents of Los Altos and Santa Clara County.
