Join Our August Central Committee Meeting
Larry Pegram with Informed Parents of California will join us at our August Central Committee meeting to offer parents an easy process to opt their children out of the harmful curriculum students may be subjected to in school these days.
He’ll also offer a look at current California legislation that continues its assault on school children while removing parents from their rightful position of oversight.
A former San Jose City Councilman, Larry Pegram is the founder of Informed Parents of California, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering parents, promoting transparency between schools and families, advancing STEM education, and advocating for school choice.
A longtime advocate for family values, Larry was the founding president of the Values Advocacy Council in Santa Clara County. Under his leadership, the Council led the local “Yes on 8” campaign, successfully advocated for the installation of pornography filters on children’s computers in the San Jose Public Library system and published the Values Voter Guide for each election cycle. The Council also served as a respected voice in the public policy arena, engaging both elected and non-elected officials on issues vital to families.
